Fried Shaped Bean Curd in XO Sauce

Soft bean curd/Soft tofu 150 g [1 pc]
Mashed shrimp meat 50 g
Egg (s) 1/2 pc [beaten]
Green Vegetables [cooked, for garnish]


Premium Oyster Sauce 1/2 tbsp
XO Sauce(Regular) 1/2 tbsp
Corn starch 1 tbsp
Beaten Egg 1/2 pc
XO Sauce(Regular) 2 tbsp
Premium Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp
Water 3 tbsp
Corn starch 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp

  1. Dry and mash bean curd.  Add mashed shrimp meat and seasoning mix.  Mix well.
  2. Fill greased porcelain spoons with bean curd mixture.  Steam over medium heat for about 8 minutes until done.  Remove and brush with beaten egg mixture.
  3. Heat oil and pan-fry both sides of shaped bean curd until golden yellow.  Arrange on a serving plate.
  4. Heat 1 tbsp oil.  Add sauce mix and bring it to the boil.  Pour over shaped bean curd.  Garnish with cooked vegetables.
